Description:  This training will be divided into two sections.

Section 1 will define what supervision is and the competencies of supervision and the role of the supervisor in cultivating the role of peer support in clinical practice. It will also address Role Bleed and Role Strain in the delivery of Peer Support services and how the supervisor can monitor and mitigate these factors.

Section 2 will cover boundaries in the supervisory relationship as well as developing the peer’s boundaries with clients. Will discuss dilemma faced by the supervisor including but not limited to supervising a peer who is a former client It will also discuss how the professional’s responsibilities are different when using telehealth.

CEU Applications have been submitted with the Kentucky Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors, The Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and the Missouri Credentialing Board for 6 CEUs

TJC Consulting, LLC reserves the right to cancel the program in the event of insufficient registration.  If TJC Consulting, LLC cancels the event, an exchange or a FULL refund of the fee will be made, whichever the participant prefers.  A participant may cancel a registration at any time, however,  cancellations MUST be done at least 1 week prior to the training date to receive a refund of the registration fee or an exchange.  Refunds due to a participant cancellation are subject to a $10 processing fee.  If a cancellation is made within a week of the training date, no refund will be issued.
