Description:  Addiction is a complex, chronic health condition that affects individuals, families, and entire communities. This engaging, evidence-based training explores how addiction changes the brain, examines the evolution of the opioid crisis and emerging drug threats, and highlights practical harm reduction strategies that save lives. Participants will also discover the latest innovations in prevention, treatment, and recovery support—including advances in medications, technology, and integrated care models—leaving with a deeper understanding of today's substance use landscape and the tools to respond more effectively with compassion and evidence-informed practices.

CEUs: Approved by the Missouri Credentialing Board and is preapproved by the Kentucky Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors for 6 CEUs. CEU Applications have been submitted with the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors.

Cost:  $60

TJC Consulting, LLC reserves the right to cancel the program in the event of insufficient registration.  If TJC Consulting, LLC cancels the event, an exchange or a FULL refund of the fee will be made, whichever the participant prefers.  A participant may cancel a registration at any time, however,  cancellations MUST be done at least 1 week prior to the training date to receive a refund of the registration fee or an exchange.  Refunds due to a participant cancellation are subject to a $10 processing fee.  If a cancellation is made within a week of the training date, no refund will be issued.
